CPD Courses for Dental Practices

Meet your GDC CPD obligations while having fun and refreshing your skills with our specialist courses for Dental Practices

Designed to meet your CPD Requirements

Medical emergencies in Dental Practices are rare, however they do happen and all members of your dental team need to know their role in the event of an emergency.

The General Dental Council emphasises that “all dental professionals are responsible for putting patients interests first, and acting to protect them”.  As part of that commitment all dental professionals must undertake continuous professional development (CPD).

Medical emergencies are one of the three core subjects which must be covered in any 5 year CPD cycle. The GDC recommend a minimum of 10 hours is spent on medical emergencies in that time period, with a recommendation of at least 2 hours CPD conducted in this subject every year.

Please note that our public dental courses are held in a meeting room, not in a mock-up of a dental surgery. They are intended to provide Dental CPR and Medical Emergencies training for those who have missed their own practice's training. If you're looking for training for your whole Practice, we'd recommend opting for an in-house course. That way you'll learn how to respond to a medical emergency in your own dental practice, in familiar surroundings and with your own staff and facilities.
