Over 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen each year in the UK and around 80% of those happen at home.  The Resuscitation Council have issued new guidelines for performing CPR in the community during the Coronavirus outbreak.

This updated guidance advises against performing “mouth-to mouth” rescue breaths to prevent the spread of COVID 19.

Please familiarise yourselves with this new guidance:

In these very difficult times, it's important to be aware of the latest guidelines, to help you to keep yourselves, your loved ones and your wider community safe.

So please, Stay at Home, Protect our NHS and help to Save Lives.
